Caroline County Public Schools follows the Maryland State Curriculum for Social Studies, when available. For all Advanced Placement courses, CCPS follows the guidance documents provided by College Board in developing and implementing those courses. All teachers' syllabi are approved by College Board, and all teachers of those courses have received training from College Board. In all courses outside of the realm of the State Curriculum, CCPS utilizes locally created curricula for each course based on information within that field of study.
